About Us

Established in 1976, the Batemans Bay Seahawks Australian Football Club is a proud football club with a rich history, and we are very passionate about our future.

The Batemans Bay Seahawks Australian Football Club has grown to be recognised as one of the most professional, successful and respected sporting bodies on the South Coast.

Currently, the club fields five senior Men`s and Women`s teams as well as six junior male and female teams in the AFL Canberra Premier and Junior Competitions.

In 2026, we celebrate our 50th anniversary. With thriving junior and senior programs catering for both male and female participants, there has never been a better time to become a Seahawk.

We are an inclusive club, committed to welcoming and providing opportunities to all players regardless of ability, gender, nationality, age, religion, or background.

We place high importance on player retention through safe, enjoyable learning environments and we take pride in developing and retaining young players to progress into our senior programs.

Our club will embark on its biggest journey yet in 2026 as our senior grades enter the AFL Canberra Premier Division. We welcome players, sponsors, volunteers and supporters to join on this exciting adventure.

We are not just a club, we are a family!
