Seahawks Shine in Under 22’s Summer Series

8 Apr 2026

The Batemans Bay Seahawks are proud to recognise a group of our talented young players who recently took part in the Under 22’s Summer Series, showcasing their skills at a representative level during the preseason.
Running across three weeks, the Summer Series provided a fantastic opportunity for emerging players to test themselves against some of the region’s best, while continuing their development in a high-performance environment leading into the 2026 season.
A huge congratulations to Seb Giri, who earned selection in the AFL Canberra Under 22’s Men’s side. Representing at this level is a terrific achievement and a testament to Seb’s hard work and consistency. Equally impressive, Amy White and Claire Callaghan were selected in the AFL Canberra Under 22’s Women’s team. Both players have been outstanding contributors to the Seahawks and continue to set a strong example with their commitment and performances.
We also recognise Isla Judd and Zara Neil, who represented the GWS Giants Academy throughout the series. Being involved in an elite development program like the Giants Academy is a fantastic opportunity, and both players should be extremely proud of their efforts.Having five Seahawks players competing in representative programs across the Summer Series highlights the strength of our pathways and the bright future of our club.
We congratulate all players on their achievements and look forward to seeing them bring their experience and development back into the Seahawks program for the season ahead.
