A huge congratulations to Tia Freyer, who has been crowned the 2026 AFL Canberra Under 18 Women’s Best & Fairest following an outstanding season for the Batemans Bay Seahawks.The achievement is made even more remarkable by the fact that Tia is just 14 years old, competing against players several years older throughout the season.Tia produced an incredible year for the Seahawks, consistently performing at a high level and establishing herself as one of the competition’s standout young players.
Her win also continues a fantastic run for the Seahawks in the Under 18 Women’s competition, with Isla Judd winning the same award in 2025, giving the club back-to-back AFL Canberra Under 18 Women’s Best & Fairest winners.It is an unbelievable achievement for Tia at such a young age and a proud moment for her family, teammates, coaches and everyone at the Seahawks.
